Recommended for advanced paddlers, our “6 Mile Sweetwater Trip” begins at Constable Bridge on a remote and winding stretch of the Mullica River and ends with food and music at the Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck! This trip can take 4-6 hours depending on individual pace and amount of stops you take. This trip has a number of beautiful beaches along the way for picnics and hangouts.

Please note: This trip is recommended for a more experienced paddler. Fluctuating river conditions, including weather, tide, submerged obstacles, and fallen trees, can make this trip moderately challenging, depending on the paddler’s experience and physical condition.

Pick Up/Drop Off

Guests will park at Sweetwater Riverdeck for pick up and be shuttled to the drop off location. This allows guests to easily leave their equipment at the boat ramp at the conclusion of their trip.

What To Know

Kayak Minimum Age Rules:

  • Single Kayak: Minimum age 10 (to paddle independently)
  • Tandem Kayak: Minimum age 5 (with an adult in the rear seat).
  • All Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).

Canoe Minimum Age Rules:

  • Minimum Age 5: (as a passenger with two adults).
  • Minimum Age 10: (to paddle from the front seat with an adult in the rear).

Additional Safety Measures

  • Parental/Guardian Waiver: A signed waiver is required for all minors participating.
  • Safety Briefing: We provide a clear, age-appropriate safety briefing for all paddlers.
  • Supervision Ratio: We recommend one adult per child under 12 for additional safety.
